Ballistic Range
この装置は高圧ガス(ヘリウム)を駆動源としたガス銃で試験模型を超音速(M=1.4～2.0)で射出する装置です． このガス銃は，高圧室，発射管(加速管，ベント管，分離管)と計測系が設置された試験チャンバーから構成されています． 本研究室のガス銃の特徴は管の断面形状とサボ分離の方法です．管の断面形状は長方形になっており管内における模型のロールを防ぐ効果があり，航空機形状の模型も射出することができます． またサボ分離の方法をを工夫しており試験模型を姿勢よく射出することが可能です．

Ballistic Range
This equipment is a gas gun called Aeroballistic range. Aeroballistic range enables to launch projectile at supersonic by using high pressure He gas. The equipment consists by high pressure chamber, launch tube tube(acceleration tube, ventilation tube, separation tube) and test chamber. Our aeroballistic range has two characteristics. One is rectangular bore launch tube. This tube prevents models from rolling. This is very important to launch projectiles which shape is like airplane. Another is sabot separation system. By employing this system, the chance of launching an experimental model with good attitude is increased.
